Kristoffer was a very unselfish, caring, and generous person. He had a BIG HEART.

Kristoffer always gave it his best no matter what he was doing, especially while he was running or working. He had a BIG HEART.

Kristoffer had a hidden heart condition called cardiomyopathy where long term effects include a growing and enlarged heart.

Preventing Sudden Cardiac Death in Youth
While Honoring the Memory of Kristoffer

Who we are

The Kristoffer Larsen BIG HEART Memorial Foundation has been established by the Larsen family of Geneva, Illinois to honor the great memory of their beloved son and brother Kristoffer Larsen (1993-2016).

Kristoffer suffered a sudden cardiac death on May 27, 2016 at age 22 while visiting his grandparents in Norway. He was a healthy and active young man that cared greatly for his siblings, family, friends, and people around him. Our work with the Foundation is dedicated in his honor, to preserve his spirit, positive outlook, and to help prevent other families from experiencing the devastation of suddenly losing a loved one.

We partner with the community and organizations that can help achieve our vision. We would love your help and support.
